Taxes & Duties
Customs Clearance
- All international packages may incur import duties and taxes (such as Customs Taxes, Value added Taxes, Sales Taxes etc) which vary widely depending on the country. Import duties, taxes, and any other related fees are not included in the item price and will be payable by the recipient at the time of delivery.
- These fees are determined by the recipient’s local customs authorities and are non-refundable. For further details, please consult your local customs website.
- The customs duties, taxes on imports, and handling costs that the shipping company (UPS) charges to the recipient by order of the customs office cannot be refunded by fasfas in the case of returns.
- Customs policies can vary widely by country; please check with your local customs office to determine any policies affecting your order.
- Fasfas is not responsible for informing the recipients about local regulations, including those concerning hazardous or restricted items. It is the recipient's responsibility to contact local customs authorities for detailed and updated information.
- It’s important to note that fasfas is not liable for packages that are refused by customs for any reason, including refusal to pay taxes, importing banned items, or any other customs-related issues.
- Important: Customs notifications may or may not be sent to recipients by the shipping company. Not receiving a notification does not qualify as a reason for refunding returned parcels. It is essential to track your order and promptly contact your local customs.
Customs Tax Refusal & Return Policy
- If a customer refuses to pay import duties, taxes, and any other related fees, no refunds will be granted.
- If customs duties, taxes, and other related fees remain unpaid beyond the period set by the shipping company, the entire package will either be returned or disposed of. Even if the customer later decides to pay the tax, it will be too late for a refund or redelivery.
